So true! In our basement living room there was a hook in the ceiling…and after staring at it for several evenings imagining what might work there, I happens upon a 12€ disco ball. That’s what they call manifesting!
I liked all the museums and the interesting things to do and see in Rome. The food is lovely and I found the Italians very nice except perhaps for the driving lol
I could walk around Rome for weeks on end - I think my favorite find was the Basilica of San Clemente in Laterano where you can go two floors underground to see the ruins of two previous versions of the church and hear the river running.
Great article. Interesting to read. I also suffer with getting lost easily! I have walked around Rome well a lot of Italy really and enjoyed it but not in the sweltering heat!
Love all the pictures! Your writing is so descriptive. Dreaming of all the music to accompany this journey!
I’ll be publishing a new playlist shortly! 🎶
Talk about feeling like being right there with you! Another excellent piece, my friend. Please keep 'em coming! 🇳🇱
My next playlist starts with a track called “The Walker”…
You gonna make me beg?
Don’t worry! It is almost ready to share 😇
Great lamp! And really, what's a bathroom without a disco ball?!

Hi Gillian, thanks for sharing your adventures - they are very interesting, fun, funny and delightful to read!
Thank you so much for reading and for letting me know! You’ve been in my thoughts a lot recently and today I spotted an Annastraat ❤️
Thanks for reading! It is such a funny thing to know which way to go on the ground but on a map, I’m stumped! What was your favorite part of Rome!?
The gardens above the city
I love the grounds of the Villa Borghese!
Beautiful
